Chalet Émeraude is a sophisticated, modern chalet finished to the highest of luxurious standards. Located in a private hamlet in Courchevel 1850, it is a fantastic chalet for a smaller group who don’t want to compromise on facilities and luxury. This 300m² chalet spans three levels and can sleep up to 8 guests in the main property, but also offering the option of two extras in the chalet’s separate apartment.
The open-plan living area fills the top floor of Chalet Émeraude. Vaulted ceilings of exposed beams deliver traditional charm, while the furniture is made with sumptuous textiles that provide deluxe comfort. The stunning fireplace draws all the attention with a distinctive design that oozes opulence. The dining table with banquette seating can comfortably seat 8 while a fully-equipped modern kitchen can be found in this open-plan space adjacent. There are French doors leading to a balcony and an impressive terrace with outside dining also.
The lower level of Chalet Émeraude is where you will find the chalet’s magnificent wellness area. Guests have the use of an indoor swimming pool, spectacularly constructed from white marble. There are relaxing loungers to rest on and a bar with mirrored furniture to enjoy a cocktail or two at. There is also a sauna, suitable for up to 6 guests at a time.
On this floor is where you will also find Chalet Émeraude’s cinema room. Purple velvet walls, soft carpeting and plush seating create a perfect atmosphere to sit down with some popcorn and enjoy a movie marathon in. The wine cave just outside this cinema can provide the drinks for this marathon, just be careful not to spill any on the furniture!
There are four double bedrooms in Chalet Émeraude for up to 8 guests. The master bedroom on the ground floor is the most luxurious of these with an additional seating area, fashionable furniture, access to a shared terrace and the whimsical feature of a hidden television in the unit at the bottom of the bed. A polished en-suite marble bathroom completes this master suite. On the ground floor, there are two further double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, one of which has access to the shared terrace with the master bedroom. A children’s double bedroom is tucked away in the eaves of the chalet, with charming wooden beams and arched windows, forming a room you might find in a fairytale. This bedroom also has a private shower room that can be accessed down a set of stairs leading off the room.
Chalet Émeraude has a large ski room with heated boot warmers to keep them nice and toasty for the following day of skiing. A laundry room sits beside a separate cloakroom for all your outerwear. Through this boot room you have access to the underground garage, which is shared with 5 other chalets in the Domaine de Bellecote. It is from this garage that you can access the separate apartment that is included in your stay at Chalet Émeraude.
The separate apartment of Chalet Émeraude personifies Alpine charm. Natural woods throughout the space makeup the design of this area. This apartment has its own living and dining space as well as a small kitchen. There is a double bedroom here with an en-suite shower room. This is an ideal space for staff that you may choose to bring on your trip, or those looking for a bit of extra privacy while still having access to all the great facilities of Chalet Émeraude. The finish is more basic in comparison to the main chalet, but is a comfortable space when needed.
