Split across three floors with spectacular panoramic views in the main living areas, this luxury private chalet offers everything you might need for an indulgent winter holiday in the mountains.
Chalet Pox is an impressive stand-alone chalet, with a traditional exterior of warm wood and stone and a modern and eclectic interior. The interior spaces are large with a very spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area, with a bar taking pride of place on the top floor.
Floor to ceiling glazing across the entire front of the main living space provides jaw dropping views down the Belleville Valley and across to the village of Chatelard and the iconic Le Cochet mountain.
Chalet Pox huge floorplan provides 6 en-suite bedrooms and a large play den/games room with 4 berth bunk, comfortably accommodating up to 16 guests. The luxury spacious bedrooms have been beautifully designed mixing modern lines and furniture with local artisan soft furnishings, with each room having its own distinct look. Sumptuous towels and bathrobes, luxurious toiletries and lots of little details and artwork make the rooms the perfect sanctuary after a day on the slopes.
BEDROOM ONE (MASTER): Located on the first floor and with two balconies this large dual aspect master room is light filled from the floor to ceiling windows and is beautifully furnished with an intimate seating area and desk. Warm taupe, ecru and terracotta provide the feature tones for the room with gorgeous textures and soft furnishings.
BEDROOM TWO: Located on the first floor and with views down the Belleville valley this room enjoys floor to ceiling windows as well as balcony access. A superking bed, desk and armchair provide lots of space to relax. Inky blues and parchment hues create a relaxing ambience. The en-suite features double sinks, walk in shower and WC as well as walk through wardrobes.
BEDROOM THREE: Located on the first floor this lovely bedroom features a superking bed and desk area. It has a gorgeous colour palette of pistachio, pale greys and highlights of burnt orange with luxurious textures and linen curtains and headboard. The en-suite features double sinks, walk in shower and WC as well as walk through wardrobes.
BEDROOM FOUR: The fourth bedroom located on the first floor has views across to Le Cochet and Le Chatelard and features a superking bed, desk and armchair as well as in-room fitted wardrobes. Decorated with beautiful textural and geometric fabrics in greys, marmalade and garnet with local artisan bed throws. The en-suite features double sinks, bath with over-bath shower and WC.
BEDROOM FIVE: Located on the ground floor this bedroom provides superking bed and desk under the window. It has a gorgeous colour palette of pistachio, pale greys and highlights of burnt orange with luxurious textures and linen curtains and headboard. The en-suite bathroom has walk in shower, double sinks and WC, as well as a wardrobe and dressing area.
BEDROOM SIX: Located on the ground floor with dual aspect windows providing exceptional views down the Belleville valley, this tucked away bedroom provides superking bed, desk and armchair. Sympathetically decorated with shades of slate blue, linen and oat with geometric fabrics and local artisan throws. The en-suite features double sinks, walk in shower and WC as well as walk through wardrobes.
BEDROOM SEVEN (BUNKROOM/GAMES ROOM): On the ground floor you will find the fantastic games room which can also double up as a bunk room with 2 bunk beds each sleeping 2. These full size bespoke bunk beds are tucked onto one side of the room leaving plenty of floor space for the rest of the games room and sofa.
On the central floor you will find 4 beautiful en-suite bedrooms, including the master suite. On the ground floor there are a further 2 en-suite bedrooms. The ground floor also hosts the private cinema room, play den/games room (with bunk beds) and the spa facilities with a hot tub nestled on the terrace providing both privacy and access to the breath-taking valley views.
Chalet Pox is not short of living space and the extensive and vast open plan living and dining area (over 110m²), provides no end of cosy and comfortable dining and seating options to enjoy on your return from the slopes each day.
Beamed and wood clad vaulted ceilings add to the spacious surroundings and the floor to ceiling wall of glass at the front of the chalet provides spectacular valley and mountain views. The room is split between a kitchen area and breakfast bar, bar and lounge seating and formal lounge, with a stunning dining table and seating for those special chef-prepared suppers. The glass sided fire sits suspended in the middle of the room so that wherever you happen to be spending your time, you get to enjoy the roaring flames.
Large modern sofas, coffee tables and large screen TV and media suite mean you can relax watching your favourite boxset pre-dinner or listen to some music.
The dining area has a very large wooden in-laid dining table which seats 16 for breakfast or dinner and the designer open plan kitchen is where your personal chef will provide sensational food throughout your stay.
The bar area provides everything you need for your favourite drinks including the artisan gin bar and an easy to access guest drinks fridge.
Spa Facilities: To ease aching muscles there is an outdoor hot tub on the ground floor terrace, with impressive views of the Belleville valley.
The chalet also has a boot room area in the garage at street level with heated boot warmers and ski racks.
In addition, Chalet Pox has the luxury of a lift between all floors so, if your legs are feeling weary from all the skiing or you are less mobile, it is easy and quick to move between the floors of the chalet.
Nestled on the ground floor of the chalet you’ll find a Cinema Room for snuggling down and watching your favourite movie or TV show and just next door is the Games Room – a great space for the younger members of the group to take up residence.
