Kaila Lodge is a luxury chalet for up to 16 guests, located in a fantastic position for both skiing and resort activities in the main Tignes Le Lac. A combination of great spa and entertainment facilities, lavish contemporary fittings and gorgeous mountain scenery makes this 450m² property a brilliant choice for your next luxury ski holiday to Tignes.
The main living area of Kaila Lodge occupies the top floor of the chalet. A large open-plan design under a cathedral ceiling structure of exposed wood gives a traditional chalet feel. At one end of the lounge you will find a feature fireplace, along with a cosy alcove of lounge seating that looks out over the mountainscape. Wooden slats separating the lounge from the entrance to the floor has been brilliantly designed with a protruding ibex on one side and an eagle on the other, highlighting the incredible attention-to-detail that has gone into lovingly crafting this chalet. Plush lounge sofas, glittering chandeliers, and a bespoke square dining table for 16 are just some of the luxurious furnishings that fill out the space. The kitchen is sleek and spacious, with lots of facilities to concoct some delicious evening meals. The floor benefits from towering picture windows, blessing the space with natural light, providing beautiful circular panoramas of the mountains surrounding Tignes, and granting access to multiple balconies.
The spa area of Kaila Lodge is found on the ground floor of the chalet. This spectacular room has been superbly crafted, a seven seater hot tub sits in the centre, surrounded by refined wood and a granite wall that gives the impression you are soothing your aching muscles in the bubbling springs inside a mountain. A bespoke sauna crafted with Aspen wood and cooling Italian shower round off the facilities in this spa.
Also found on the ground floor of Kaila Lodge is the entertainment room. This trendy space features a small bar, darts and a pool table, that can be easily converted into a poker table should you require. Cool artwork adorns the walls, while a separate TV snug completes the room.
There are eight bedrooms to Kaila Lodge, spread between the first and second floors, sleeping up to 16 guests. The bedrooms are fashionable and luxurious, with a distinct alpine style, due to the use of exposed wood and neutral colour schemes. There are two master suites, one on each floor, with six other rooms. The bedrooms can all be taken as double or twin, allowing for flexibility in sleeping arrangements. Many of the bedrooms come with balcony access, while every bedroom has its own splendid en-suite bathroom.
An internal elevator runs between all four floors of Kaila Lodge. There are two parking spaces available for guest use. The lodge also has its own ski room on the ground floor, with plenty of storage spa for equipment and helmet, benches and drying cabinets for boots.
For larger groups of up to 26 guests, Kaila Lodge can be taken alongside Sona Lodge, which occupies the same building.
